About John Grubb

For as long as I remember, I've always had a camera of some sort. As I got a little older, it seemed I was always the one who was taking the pictures. Rarely did I get into any pictures myself. But for years, I was just taking pictures, basically just snapshots.  In 2008 I got married and after meeting with our chosen photographer a long forgotten passion was re-awakened. I wanted to become a serious photographer.

I purchased an entry level DSLR and began exploring photography again. After about 2 years of semi serious effort, I finally stopped taking pictures and started making pictures. This change in mindset was the catalyst I needed to really move to a higher level of work and start attaining my goals as a photographer. Since then I have been exploring the different genres of photography to find the areas I enjoy doing the most.
